Kind Wordsprinted at my kitchen table

Writing kind words into the world.

There's a tiny printer on my kitchen table. Send it something kind and, a minute or two later, it prints on a curl of paper, waiting for me with my morning coffee.

Write a kind word
Kind notes only. Every message is read first.
Printed on paper, read over breakfast.
From anywhere in the world.

Send a kind word

A hello from where you are, the best advice you've ever heard, a little poem. It doesn't need to be clever. Kind is plenty.

Not sure where to start? Pick an idea and I'll give you the first few words.

I sometimes share favourite slips on my social media, so your words might travel a little further.

Every note is read before it prints, so only kind words reach the kitchen table.

Where are you?
Never printed and never shared.

Your first name and town are printed with your note. By sending, you agree I may share a photo of your printed slip on my social media. Your contact details are never shared.

Thank you.

If it's kind, it's on its way to the printer.

Why a printer on my kitchen table?

So much of what reaches us online is loud, fast and built to make us cross. I wanted to try the opposite: something slow, small and kind, that arrives on paper and waits by the kettle.

Every slip is a stranger choosing to make someone else's morning a little better. That is all it takes for people to feel connected: one person, one kind sentence, sent across a town or across the world.

I share my favourite slips, so the kindness keeps travelling. If one of them makes you smile, write one back into the world.
